Come Demo the RoughRider®

November 6, 2012

Dennis Hein out at the park in Billings, MT

“I just love my RoughRider®, it is awesome outside and in. The chair was very easy to manage in the gravel and dirt, uphill and downhill too.” – Crystal Costa, Equestrian from CA

” I feel like I’ve gotten my life back, I don’t have to look out in front of me and I don’t have to worry that I’ll be pitched out of the chair.” – Warren Miles, father of two with MS from the UK
Come out and test ride a RoughRider® and see for yourself how easy it is to navigate terrain.
When:  Saturday, November 10 from 11:00am-1:30pm
Where:  The California Pacific Medical Center’s Adaptive Sports and Recreation Event located at Castro and Duboce, lower level parking lot (entrance at Duboce and Noe streets).
Whirlwind Wheelchair, based at SF State University, designs durable and highly functional wheelchairs that help riders to achieve maximum personal independence and integration into society.  Our chairs meet the needs of active wheelchair users in rough conditions because our founder and chief engineer is a 40-year wheelchair rider and because we have involved wheelchair riders in developing countries for more than 3 decades. US riders now benefit from the input of riders from around the world.  US rider feedback from our initial trial of the RoughRider® is overwhelmingly positive.
